Parliamentary committee orders contractors to hire 90% local workers in housing projects

The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Housing, Urban Planning, and Public Works, chaired by Emurua Dikirr MP Hon. Johanna Ngeno, has directed contractors working on affordable housing projects to employ at least 90% of both skilled and unskilled labour from local communities.
