Renowned scholar Prof.Raphael Munavu has been laid to rest at his home in Mbilini Village, Kangundo Constituency, Machakos County, in a ceremony attended by national and local leaders amid calls for urgent reforms in Kenya’s education sector. Speaking during the funeral ceremony, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba lauded the late Prof. Munavu for his immense contribution to education reforms in Kenya. Ogamba said that recommendations made by committees led by Prof. Munavu had helped shape key reforms in the education sector.
