Treasury Moves to End Capitation Delays With Ksh23B Injection

The National Treasury will on Tuesday release Ksh23 billion to the Ministry of Education to avert disruption as schools prepare to reopen. Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi announced the disbursement during the launch of the FY 2026/27 budget-making process at KICC, saying the funds will go toward school capitation and national examinations.
