US strikes second alleged drug vessel in Pacific, killing three

US forces have launched a second strike on a vessel allegedly involved in drug trafficking in the Pacific Ocean, intensifying Washington’s campaign against seaborne narcotics smuggling. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that three people were killed in the latest strike on Wednesday, just hours after another boat was hit in a similar operation that left two dead. No American personnel were injured.
