The Supreme Court is ready to handle presidential election petitions should anyone move to the apex court over the August 9th general election. The highest court in the land says it has already activated its machinery a day after the Azimio coalition rejected the presidential results announced by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati. The move came after the High Court quashed Supreme Court amended rules on presidential elections barring the public from discussing the petition until a judgment is declared.
