Kenyans have been challenged to fully exercise their constitutional right to public participation and to hold the government accountable. Speaking during a national convention on civic education hosted by the URAIA trust, stakeholders emphasized the need for collective, issue-based political engagement as a key pillar in strengthening Kenya’s democratic progress. The two-day forum, which began on Tuesday, brought together representatives from government institutions and human rights organizations to discuss ways of enhancing citizen involvement in governance.
