Gospel artist Betty Bayo laid to rest in her Mugumo home, Kiambu County

A cloud of grief and sorrow hovered over the Ndumberi Stadium in Kiambu County as family musicians and friends of the late Beatrice Wairimu Mbugua also known as Betty Bayo gathered to bid a final farewell to the renown musician. Bayo died on Monday November 10, 2025 while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital after battling Acute Myloid Leukemia.
