Kenya plans Sh30bn local funding to tackle HIV/AIDS after donor freeze

Kenya is now looking inward to bridge the Sh30 billion gap in managing the HIV/AIDS epidemic, following a stop-work order that froze donor funding earlier this year. In the five-year strategic plan unveiled on Sunday, key initiatives include the integration of HIV services into general healthcare, the implementation of a robust health information system, and addressing human resource challenges
