“Another country, not Kenya!” Kisii pastors oppose bill proposing church regulation

Kisii County clergy are the latest to oppose the proposed law to regulate the operation of churches, saying the move is sponsored by ‘dark forces’ within the government. They are calling on President William Ruto to intervene and order withdrawal of the bill. Speaking on Monday in Kisii town, the men of the cloth under their umbrella body Kisii Pastors and Clergy Forum, say it is ridiculous to attempt to bar the clergy from performing miracles, and faithful from speaking in tongues.
