A 56-year-old man is nursing a gunshot wound at his home in Freer Town in Nyali constituency, Mombasa County, after allegedly being shot by police officers on patrol. Omar Ali, who has been bedridden for two months, claims that the officers took him to Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital, paid for his treatment for one month before ordering his discharge and sending him home.
