RUPHA hosts a free medical camp in Kakamega

    The government has been urged to extend the vulnerable and indigent health program that is being undertaken in marginalized areas to other parts of the country. Speaking at Esishiru, Kakamega County, during a free medical camp, the chairman of Rural and Urban Private Hospitals Association of Kenya, RUPHA, Brian Lishenga, said that it will ensure vulnerable communities are better served under sha. Hundreds of patients from the rural area turned up for treatment, as others used the opportunity to register for the SHA. The medical camp offered free cancer screening and treatment of other common ailments.
