Grade 10 learners given another chance to apply for placement review from January 6–9, 2026

Learners still seeking a review of their placement to grade 10 have another window to apply for further review from the 6th to the 9th of January 2026. According to Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos, applications declined were largely attributed to the absence of the preferred subject combinations or lack of capacity in the selected schools. The ministry of education received an initial 355,457 for review with each learner allowed to lodge up to four applications. 211,636 learners got the approval for their revised applications.
