As Kenyans wind up the year 2025, a new national opinion poll shows the rising cost of living remains the single biggest challenge facing Kenyans across the country. The Infotrak End-of-Year Poll, conducted between 19th and 20th December 2025 among 1,000 respondents across all 47 counties, reveals that unemployment and the high food prices are now the leading financial burdens facing households. The survey further shows that economic hardship is taking a toll beyond finances and affecting the overall well-being of Kenyans.
