Popular for its vast open plains and the spectacular wildebeest migration, the Maasai Mara National Reserve has in recent months been at the center of debate over development versus conservation. What began as viral videos about construction of the luxurious world-class The Ritz-Carlton, Masai Mara Safari Camp, would later roll to the corridors of justice on claims that the facility was blocking a key wildebeest migration corridor.
