Ruiru building materials company workers down tools

Operations at a building materials company along Nairobi’s Eastern Bypass were brought to a standstill after more than 200 casual workers downed their tools, protesting what they term as poor working conditions and delayed payments. The workers are now appealing to the Ministry of Labour and other relevant authorities to intervene and address their concerns.
