Residents of Imurtot in Kajiado South Sub-County are set to benefit from improved healthcare services following the upgrading of the local health centre to a Level Four hospital. The fifty-five million shilling project, expected to be completed within six months, will equip the facility with a theatre, radiology services, and a modern maternity unit. Speaking during the ground-breaking ceremony, Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku said the upgrade is part of his administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots. The governor added that the facility has also been equipped with a fully equipped ambulance to enhance emergency response and patient referrals.
