Ruto orders all Grade 10 learners to report to school regardless of fees or uniforms

President William Ruto has directed all learners to report to their respective senior schools by tomorrow morning, regardless of whether they have paid school fees or have the required school uniforms or not. Speaking in Meru County during the disbursement of funds under the Nyota Business Support Programme, President Ruto said the government, having released 44 billion shillings in capitation at the start of this year, schools have enough resources to accommodate the new learners as they join. The Ministry of Education has, at the same time, warned school heads that strict action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the directive.
