MPs raise alarm over possible police insurance scam

In a heated season before the national assembly's public accounts committee, the national police service leadership was at pains to explain why families of police officers who die in the line of duty have to wait for three years to receive their compensation. The insurance company awarded the contract is blamed for failing to pay claims amounting to 220 million shillings.
