8,820 youth drawn from the counties of Kisii, Nyamira and Migori counties , have benefited from business grants from the NYOTA program, a project that aims to improve youth employability and expand employment opportunities. Each entrepreneur received 22,000 shillings, amounting to 220.5 million shillings, after the successful completion of a mandatory four-day business skills training program.
