EACC has dismissed claims of abetting corruption in northern counties

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has dismissed allegations of abetting corruption in northern frontier counties. Commission CEO Abdi Mohamud said that the commission had to the contrary recommended the prosecution of senior county officials including a sitting governor. He spoke when receiving a petition from the youth of Kenya integrity champions who completed a 350 kilometer walk from Eldoret to Nairobi to decry the effects of corruption.
