It has now emerged that Misappropriation of tax payers funds, irregular appointments Ethnic Staff Composition and irregular awarding of tenders are starving and hindering education services at several Technical Teaching Institutes across the Country. This was evident when Thika Technical Training Institute, led by their Principal Hannah Mburu was at pains to explain a 9.8 Million shilling expenditure on a cafeteria that was rented out for the institution but no documentation was provided to the auditor after establishing the venture led to a 5 Million shillings loss of public funds for the period ending 30th of June 2025.
