Over 2 million Kenyans face severe food and water shortages as drought worsens

    More than two million Kenyans are in dire need of food and water, as the drought situation continues to ravage the country. According to the Kenya Red Cross, 784,000 children are reported to be malnourished as families continue to lose their livelihood to the raging drought. Leaders from affected counties are calling on the president to declare the drought a national disaster, to activate resources to save millions of Kenyans from starvation.
