In northern Kenya’s Marsabit County, deeply rooted cultural norms continue to shape the lives of young women, often with devastating consequences. Practices such as early marriage, teenage pregnancy and social exclusion remain common among sections of the Gabra community, despite growing efforts by rights groups to challenge them.
