The Ministry of Lands has begun digitizing land records in Kakamega County to curb rising cases of land fraud. Kakamega County Lands Officer David Masila noted that all land transactions should be conducted digitally by the end of the year to enhance transparency and protect buyers. He further warned residents, especially in Malava, Lurambi and Navakholo Sub-Counties, to remain vigilant, noting an increase in fraud cases in the areas.
