Commutters were on Monday morning forced to walk to their destinations after a section of public service vehicle operators withdrew their services and blocked roads. The operators are protesting against alleged violence, and the torching of vehicles by bodaboda riders. The Matatu owners have announced plans to hold a strike every Monday until the government addresses what they term as persistent harassment.
