The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers and Council of Governors have finally put pen to paper on a Collective Bargaining Agreement, which they have been negotiating for the last 8 years. The deal, the first ever between the two, is effective from 1st July 2025 - June 2029. Clinicians have a bag of benefits courtesy of the agreement, including career progression and promotions, improved remuneration, workforce stability, job security, payment of salaries arrears, among others.
