Addressing the media in Nairobi the council led by its National Chairman Philip Odero, raised concerns that only less than 30% of all sectors in the country are compliant warning that failure to meet the given deadline will attract criminal liability under the law and may lead to disciplinary action, professional sanctions, and legal proceedings. The requirements include mandatory registration and licensing, inclusion of the council’s qualification in schemes of service and work permits for foreign Human Resource practitioners.
