The government has finalized preparations for the Usajili Mashinani (door-to-door) National Identity Card registration programme in Kajiado County. Area Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs are undergoing training on the new registration guidelines ahead of the 10-day mobile registration exercise. The programme follows the successful national launch of Usajili Mashinani in West Pokot County, as the government targets counties that have previously been underserved, including Kajiado.
