The United Green Movement party has intensified its campaign to encourage Kenyans to register as voters in Garissa County.
Speaking in Garissa town, the party’s presidential candidate, retired Chief Justice David Maraga, criticized the IEBC for failing to take advantage of the available opportunity to register local residents as voters.Maraga called on the commission to visit grassroots areas and places of worship to register all eligible voters.He also dismissed claims that he is a proxy for any politician, saying he will remain in the presidential race until 2027.
