3.3 million Kenyans face hunger as four more counties enter drought crisis

    3.3 million Kenyans in 23 counties are currently facing hunger due to the worsening drought situation. This is according to Deputy President Kithure kindiki who says 10 of these counties are hard hit, and urgent mitigation efforts have been instituted to save lives. The government says it has disbursed 4.1 billion Kenyan shillings to mitigate the effects of the drought.
