State House Day Pre-School parents oppose centre manager's transfer

The State House Day Pre-School Parents’ board today stormed the school and halted efforts by Nairobi county officials who had arrived to forcibly remove the school’s centre manager, Mary Saburi. The county claims Saburi has been transferred and demoted over allegations that she opposed the Dishi na county school feeding programme. But parents insist they are the ones who unanimously agreed not to adopt the Dishi na county programme two years ago.
