Britam Holdings has signed an MOU with UN Global Compact Network committing to address business practices aimed at supporting sustainability. Britam CEO Tom Gitogo underscored the need for corporates to incorporate the climate change ideas in their strategies, to address the challenges brought about by climate change globally. Britam is now part of 56 other African firms that have signed the climate change statement that was addressed by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on climate implementation Summit at the concluded COP27 in Sharm el- Sheikh in Egypt.
