Touting practices have been identified as one of the leading causes of sexual harassment in public service vehicles. However, most touts and operators say they are not aware of how they cause the harassment. to curb these cases, NMS, NTSA, and other partners have reiterated the need to create awareness and strengthen the transport policies.
