Kenyans urged to adopt more indigenous foods

    The push to promote indigenous foods in the country is gaining momentum as stakeholders in agriculture explore ways of boosting food security. Speaking during a briefing on the upcoming National Dialogue on Agri-Food Systems, stakeholders present noted that such foods also play a major role in enhancing the quality of diets. The two-day National Dialogue will bring together stakeholders from the private sector, government, civil society, and academia to explore strategies and collaborations on how to increase consumption of affordable and safe indigenous foods in the country.
