Contractors who fail to deliver gov't projects on time to be blacklisted

Central Regional Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha has warned contractors working on government projects that they risk being stopped and blacklisted if they fail to deliver within the agreed timelines after receiving payment. Speaking during a tour of Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) projects in Kirinyaga, Nkanatha said the government has cleared all pending bills and therefore contractors have no excuse for delays. He urged them to fully mobilise their resources and return to work on derailed projects without further delay.
