SHA launches free emergency response care services

You will now be able to access emergency care services for free under the social health authority. According to SHA CEO Dr Mercy Mwangangi, the authority plans to establish a national ambulance dispatch center which will ensure that all Kenyans, whether registered under SHA or not, will have timely response to emergencies. SHA will reimburse the cost of ambulance evacuation as well as pay for any services received within the first 24 hours.
