Women from Ngomeni ward in Mwingi North constituency, Kitui County are calling on the county government to drill more boreholes in the area to address water shortage. The women say the available boreholes are not sufficient to meet the community`s needs, thereby making them trek for miles in search of the precious commodity. This, as Kitui County Governor Julius Malombe assured residents his administration is working to ensure that there is a constant supply of water.
