A six-year Persons with Disabilities empowerment programme by Light for the World has ended with major success across seven counties, including Meru, Kakamega, and Kiambu.
The inBusiness initiative helped over 70% of participants expand their ventures and boost savings. Officials urged counties to meet the 5% tender allocation for PWDs, as leaders hailed the project for advancing disability inclusion and economic growth.
