Senate Mashinani Busia chapter has come to a close after conducting its parliamentary business in the border county this week. On Thursday, the plenary sittings were, however, interrupted by a quorum hitch forcing the house to adjourn its sittings at 4 pm. The sittings in Busia saw the Senators engage with the residents, assess county and national projects, and examine the county coffers.
