53 protesters appear arrested yesterday in court in Machakos and Nairobi

53 protestors arrested during yesterdays protests over the rising cost of fuel in Nairobi have been charged with blocking the free movement of people and causing inconvenience. 10 of the activists were arraigned at the City Court while 43 were arraigned in a Machakos Court, where they denied the charges before the presiding magistrate.
