Sixty-three girls from Kaganda Senior School in Kahuro, Murang’a County have graduated from the Binti Shupavu mentorship program, marking a major milestone in promoting girls’ education and empowerment.
Implemented by the Centre for Women Empowerment in Technology (CWE-Tech) in partnership with Daring Girls (USA) and the Girls Livelihood and Mentorship Initiative (GLAMI), the program addresses challenges such as teenage pregnancies, low self-esteem, family conflicts, and lack of positive role models.
