AFRICA QUALITY MARK UNVEILED TO BOOST CROSS-BORDER TRADE AND CUT TRADE BARRIERS

The Africa Quality Mark (AQM) has been unveiled in Mombasa during the 32nd African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO) General Assembly, marking a major step towards easing cross-border trade and reducing technical barriers across Africa. The QR-code-enabled certification system, also known as the ARSO Dual Mark, is designed to authenticate product quality and reduce repeated testing and inspections when goods move between African countries.
