The three-day search for miners trapped in the collapsed Ogago gold mine in Bondo Sub-County has come to an end after all three bodies were retrieved. Emotions ran high as families and relatives gathered at the mining site to pay tribute to their loved ones whose lives were cut short in the tragic incident. Among the recovered bodies was that of an orphaned man whose brother had also perished in the same accident, leaving the family devastated. During the emotional visit to the site, family members described the deceased as hardworking men who had sacrificed their lives while trying to earn a living. The affected families are now appealing to the government and well-wishers to assist with mortuary bills and burial expenses. The bodies have been moved to the Bondo Sub-County Morgue.
