    Politicians are set to pay more to use music at their events, after the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports gazetted new higher tariffs for the use of music. According to details entailed in the consolidated music and audio-visual works tariff, a presidential candidate will now have to part with sh500,000 to use music when unveiling their state house bid.
