Attorney General Dorcas Oduor has unveiled a Multisectoral Committee tasked with reviewing unconstitutional, obsolete, and redundant laws that remain in Kenya's statute books despite court rulings.
The committee, chaired by Kenya Law Reform Commission (KLRC) Chairperson Christine Agimba, will examine laws and statutory provisions declared unconstitutional by the courts, identify outdated legislation for repeal, bridge legislative gaps, and recommend reforms to align Kenya's legal framework with the 2010 Constitution.
