    The Auditor General has flagged five constituencies that drew cheques for bursary but never presented the millions of shillings to the beneficiaries, denying needy learners their right to education. Narok West is leading with the highest number of unpresented bursary cheques, according to the Auditor General. The Nancy Gathungu performance audit report has also laid bare the casual manner in which some constituencies are handling bursary money, with the audit team flagging favouritism, double allocation, nepotism, and fraud.
