Taxi driver arrested over arson death of gospel singer Racheal Muthoni as calls grow to address femicide
Police have this evening arrested a taxi driver in connection with the arson attack that led to the death of gospel artist Racheal Muthoni.
The arrest comes as human rights organisations urged the government to declare gender-based violence and femicide a national crisis, and to take urgent action to protect women and girls amid rising cases across the country.
And as Brenda Wanga reports, the family of the deceased Muthoni is calling for speedy investigations into her killing.
