Busia County Government has rolled out a digital revenue collection system to curb corruption and seal revenue leakages. The move follows reports of tax losses linked to manual collection by revenue officers. Under the new system, traders, truck drivers, boda boda operators and other business owners will pay taxes through approved digital platforms to enhance transparency.
