Chief Justice Martha Koome has officially launched the Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) County Action Plan, AJS Model, AJS Suite and AJS Registry in Kisii County as part of the Judiciary's efforts to expand access to justice through community-based dispute resolution.
Speaking at the Kisii Law Courts, Chief Justice Koome said the initiative reinforces the Judiciary's constitutional commitment to ensuring every Kenyan can access justice through approaches that reflect the realities of their communities.
