Clinical officers strike in Marsabit hits 151 days, raising neonatal death concerns

The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers has hit out at the Marsabit County government over the continued clinical officers strike that they say has paralyzed healthcare services in the devolved unit. The union’s chair, Peterson Wachira, has raised the alarm over the high neonatal deaths in the county that he says are driven by the prolonged strike, now on day 151.
